Getting Support

Our Support forum is dedicated and you need to register before you are posting the Forum. You need to register with the purchase code and this file found on the themeforest 4th step on above the image.

Before Posting the Forum

  1. Always check the Documentation & Knowledgebase Center and Support Forum. Because some questions already answered there.
  2. Our Support forum has Live search and you need to search your Key word to your problem before posting. This will prevent duplicated support questions.
  3. Please Check your Theme Version to the Latest and also Wordpress version too. All bugs related questions has solved Theme version, because some bug has already resolved in new versions.
  4. This is hunting guide for problem - >
    • - Please update your theme to latest theme version.
    • - Deactivate all of your plugin and test it again.
    • - Switch the another theme and test it(Not our theme related problems. Example: Image not displaying etc)
    • - If you have blank white screen then enable the Wordpress Debug to true
  5. Followed all those steps then you can't find the answer then please Post the Support forum or Themeforest Item Profile section. Note: Please give us more detail for your problem with LIVE demo URL and Version numbers etc.
  6. Also the please leave your passwords, credentials to our gmail (themewaves@gmail.com) or support forum(Set us the Private reply) then we will solve it really fast.
  7. Most of users are not give us problem url or feature request by image then they lost 1 day or 2 day. Because we are not predictor and if you give us more detail for your problem or for your feature request then we can solve this better and quick.

Before installing theme, you need to setup your Wordpress. If you don't know how to install wordpress Please go to the General Guides section there has First steps video and other tons of helpful tutorials are there.

Install theme via FTP

Step 1 – Log into your hosting space via an FTP software(Example: FileZilla etc)

Step 2 – Unzip the Rebound-version-1.zip file and ONLY use the extracted Rebound theme folder

Step 3 – Upload the extracted Rebound theme folder into wp-content > themes folder

Step 4 – Activate the newly installed theme. Go to Appearance > Themes and activate it.

Step 6 – Then you will get a notification to activate the required plugins: Layer Slider and CF7. Follow the steps to install and activate.

WordPress Installation

Common Errors Uploading theme

If you get the “Are You Sure You Want To Do This” message when installing Rebound.zip file via WordPress, it means you have an upload file size limit. Install the theme via FTP if this happens, or call your hosting company and ask them to increase the limit.

Our theme is keep improving for fixing bugs and other related things. And you need to keep update your theme to new versions.

Update via FTP

Step 1 – Go to “wp-content > themes” location and backup your “Rebound” theme folder by saving it to your computer, or you can choose to simply delete it. Your content will not be lost.

Step 2 – Retrieve the “Rebound-version-1.zip” file from your new Themeforest download and extract the file to get the “Rebound” theme folder.

Step 3 – Then simply drag and drop the new “Rebound” theme folder into “wp-content > themes” location. Choose to “Replace” the current one if you did not delete it.

Update via Wordpress Dashboard

Step 1 – Go to your WP dashboard area and Please make sure you are backup your current theme if you edited theme files, then after you make sure delete the current theme.

Step 2 – Retrieve the “Rebound-version-1.zip” file from your new Themeforest download and upload it on Appearance-> Themes section.

Step 3 – Then activate the theme again.

Steps for Importing Sample Content

It takes 5-10 min if you ticked the Download Media file attachments. Because images are downloading to your website and it need some time. Please be patient and why not making some coffee and do the another things in while ;)

  1. Go to Wordpress Dashboard Area
  2. Go to Tools -> Import and choose the Wordpress and if you have not installed XML import plugin then you need to install it one time.
  3. Then it will ask you to choose the admin and also the Download the Media files etc. If you want to download all used images then please tick it. If you have ticked it then it will increase importing time. Please be patient while importing the Sample Content.

After importing all dummy data then you need to set the homepage.

  1. Go to the Wordpress Dashboard Area
  2. Go to the Settings -> Reading section then choose the A static Page to Front Page and choose our theme Home
  3. WARNING: Don't set the Posts Page to our Blog Page. If that has chosen our Blog Page builder element configuration is overridden Wordpress default settings and some configurations are not working. Example: Pagination, Excerpt etc

You need to choose the Main Menu. Some themes are providing more than one menu. Because sometimes there has and Top and Footer menu as well.

Setting Main Menu

Step by Step

  1. If you have inserted All our dummy data then you need to go to Manage Locations and choose the Main menu to our custom created Main menu.
  2. Then you need to change this menu to your own.
  3. If you have started fresh then you need to create the menu before assigning on Manage Locations section.

Activating Slider

After activating the Theme you will see two notifications for install the plugins. One is Slider and another one is Contact Form plugin.

Now our slider dummy data has included your downloaded Main files folder from your Themeforest Downloads.

Check the picture below and you will understand how to import slider dummy.
